HF4MW INC Scholarship programs are given out yearly to those women who are looking to better their quality of life by making a difference in their physical and mental health. What makes these programs a success, they are supported highly through our funder's and community supports.
Community Initiative Mental & Physical Health Scholarship Program (CIMPS)

CIMPS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: $5,000
CIMPS
The Community Initiative Mental & Physical Health Scholarship (CIMPS) program is a rehabilitated program for morbid obese minority women ages 18-65. The program primary concerns with weight loss, remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through physical intervention. CIMPS was formed in 2012 under the umbrella of Health & Fitness 4
Minority Women Inc. (HF4MW) non-profit 501(3) c organization.
The Mission:
CIMPS is dedicated to improving the quality of life of minority and underserved women affected by chronic health conditions such as obesity and high risk weight issues due to family traits and socio-economic environmental conditions.”
CIMPS Objectives:
Implement educational resources that enforce physical/mental health awareness among minority women within rural communities.
To provide self enhancement programs that will help minority women to increase motivation, strengthen confidence and raise self-esteem.
To help decrease health disparities such as obesity, heart disease, hypertension, cholesterol, and other physical health distractions.
To develop specific physical fitness and nutrition programs to improve upon minority women quality of life.
To help minority women to improve their self-images, handle life stressors.
To enhance good nutritional habits, improve diversity, develop specific skills, as well as become familiar with various health issues and how to live a healthier lifestyle.
The overall basis of our strong physical& Mental Health foundation works on the disciplines of helping minority women to fight against various health disparities.

What CIMPS Scholarship Offers:
CIMPS scholarship offer morbid obese minority women a free three month physiotherapy and weight management program that includes:
· In-home rehabilitation, ROM, physical exercise, health education, and nutrition consultation and weight loss program.
· The Mental health portion of the program implements mental health counseling to ensure mental balance associated with weight loss behavior, abilities to move and perform activities in their daily lives.
CIMPS Program Qualifications:
Low-income Morbid Obese Minority Woman ages 18-65
Weight of 400 plus pounds with some type of chronic health condition (HBP, Diabetes, obesity ECT…)
Income $500 – 1300 monthly per individual/one person per household
Live within the bay area
Ability to be mobile AND/or willing
CIMPS Program Requirements:
Complete Application/Application fee $90
Copy of Medical Condition Records
Signed Medical Clearance primary physician
Provide in-home spacing for treatment
A one-hour physical assessment.
7-day Nutritional/fluid assessment
Must complete a 90-day weight management program
Participate in a 3 months to 1 year 2-3 days a week physical fitness regiment, depending on physical health circumstances
LBGT COMMUNITY WOMEN PROJECT
(LCWP)
"Building Pride & Determination"
Coalition for women with Depressive and Anger Management Concerns

LCWP is an initiative physical and mental health scholarship program that challenges LBGT Minority women whom are part of the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay & Trans-sexual community to handle emotional anxieties and depressive issues they face on a daily Basis.
To implement positive reinforcement, the program uses mental health counseling, physical fitness regiments and motivational strategies to enforce good physical health habits, implement positive thought patterns and strengthen confidence and raise self-esteem while developing specific skills that leads LBGT minority women to a rehabilitated quality of life and longevity.
LCWP SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: $2,500
MISSION:
LCWP is dedicated to enhancing self-esteem and confidence in women affected by life depressor, anxiety and related physical and mental conditions.

LCWP Objectives:
T rehabilitate LBGT women physical and mental health;
To improve LBGT women health through physical activities;
To positively stimulate LBGT women momentum;
To improve LGBT women physiological and psychological state;
To guide LGBT women to living a healthy lifestyle;
To decrease health disparities, improve self-image and handle life stressors;
To provide self-enhancement programs that increase motivation, strengthen confidence and raise self-esteem;
To train and develop community-based advocacy leaders and partners
LCWP Program Qualifications: ·
Low-income LBGT minority women ages 18-60 ·
Have Depression & Anxiety circumstances ·
Have one or more physical health issues ·
Income of $500 - 1,800 monthly ·
Live within the Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Marin Bay Area of California
LCWP Program Requirements:
Attend Program Orientation
Complete Application/Application fee $80
Copy of Medical Condition Records
Signed Medical Clearance primary physician
Sign Consent/Liability form
Take a one hour physical/Mental health assessment
Participate in the program for 6 weeks 2x a week physical fitness regiment and mental consulting sessions

WSFIP SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: $3,500
WSFIP is a career enforcement program that provide incentives to young minority women ages 18-25 who want to develop a career and build a positive family oriented foundation. The program help young women to earn a career degree, build self-esteem, cope with life stressors, create educational and family goals, focus on their physical and mental being, create a healthy environment, and become a strong and self-sufficient women. WSFIP was formed in 2012 under the umbrella of Health & Fitness 4 Minority Women Inc. (HF4MW) non-profit 501(3) c organization.
Mission:
WSFIP primary mission is to help young minority women strive for a professional career develop a healthy lifestyle and transfer to womanhood positively.
WSFIP Objectives:
To provide opportunity for young women to develop self-motivational skills and education.
To implement career educational resources that enforces young minority women to reach for a brighter future.
To enhance self-respect and self-perseverance.
To develop a positive foundation that influence young minority women to to reach for a better career-oriented lifestyle.
To help improve young minority women family values and specific skills that will enhance their socio-economic environment conditions.
To improve young minority women self-discipline and social skills.
WSFIP Program Qualifications:
Low-income young Minority women ages 18-25
Single mother with child(s)
Have a Diploma, GED or working toward a GED
Income of $500 - 1,200 monthly
Live within the Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Marin Bay Area of California
WSFIP Program Requirements:
Complete Application/Application fee $60
Sign Consent/Liability form
Participate in a 6-week two hours 2x a week workshop
Work 40 community hours at HF4MW Inc
Create or become involved in a community project that influence women to become leaders in the business arena.
