Health & Fitness Challenge Events

For all minority women

This event includes:

1. Speed Walk Relay (400 meter and 800 meter)

2. 3-mile Track Walk-a-thon

3. 100 meter High knees walk race

4. 20min Total Body Cardiovascular Fitness routine

5. 30-minute Health Education Workshop on:Weight Gain/Weight Loss and Menopause/Nutrition 

When: Saturday's, Sept. 28, 2024

Where: Tracks (Oakland, San Leandro or Richmond) TBA

Time: 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m.

Cost: $380 Donation

 

Winner's will receive HF4MW Inc Certificates, T-shirt or Ribbons. To register, please fill out your form below and submit, separate forms for each person. Please press the donate button so your registration is complete. All proceeds will help fund HF4MW Inc to provide continuous health education and fitness programs for minority women health. All donations are tax deductible.

 

This Event is a fundraising event to support HF4MW Inc. HF4MW Inc is non-profit community based organization that focus on eliminating health disparities among minority women within rural communities through health education awareness and prevention interventions.

Healthy Strides

Marathon

Saturday & Sunday

September 7-8, 2024

9:00am -1:00pm

 

Healthy strides marathon is a 2-Day/3-mile obstacle run that challenges women through various fun physical fitness apparatus events.

 

The healthy Strides Marathon event is given as a fund raiser to support health education awareness and prevention methods for minority women. The fund raiser will provide health education resources, advocacy, seminars and community workshops, research, and physical fitness regiments and help minority women change behaviors. We are asking for a modest $300 from each participant

Our Focus:

To build minority women self-esteem.

To create a better quality lifestyle

To make minority women get involved with physical regiments

To provide educational resources on various health conditions.


This marathon is given as a means of financial support for minority women fight against health disparities. Minority women will become more health conscience and motivated to achieve a better lifestyle with positive energies and elevated positioning. Socially, all participants will have a lot of fun, meet new people, and accomplish even maybe their first marathon walk.

Events include activities:

Speed walking

Hurdle Jumps

Rabbit hops

jogging

swimming

rock climbing

Use of various apparatus.......etc.
