 BEFORE JOINING APSTFC/HF4MW, I HATED EXERCISING AND GOING TO THE GYM, IN WHICH I DID NOT ANYTHING ON A CONSISTENT BASIS.  THIS PROGRAM HAS HELPED ME TO CARE ABOUT HOW I LOOK. NOW I AM CONSCIENCE ABOUT WHAT I EAT AND HOW VITALLY IMPORTANT IT IS TO EXERCISE REGULARLY.  THE SPECIAL THING ABOUT DR. My nutrition/fitness experience before joining APSTFC consisted of attending weekly Weight Watchers meetings with an inconsistent workout program.  APSTFC has helped me to maintain a consistent workout regiment for the past 12 weeks. Within the first 6 weeks of the program, I released 6 inches of body fat. As a result of my experience at APSTFC, I plan to continue with a consistent workout schedule of working out 5-6 times per week and monitoring my daily caloric intake.   I highly recommend APSTFC nutrition/fitness programs to all women who would like to gain knowledge about health and wellness as well as formulate a new lifestyle.  Slogan, “Healthy lifestyle changes are in full effect @ APSTFC”

Hello I’m Sonya Y. Smith-Hodge.  Before joining APSTFC/HF4MW I did not a fitness or nutrition plan.  I practically ate what I wanted and when I wanted it.  I felt that as a mother, full-time student and working two jobs, I wouldn’t have time for working out.  I was too tired at the end of my day and that might be a bit selfish if I took an hour our of my day to care about my needs.  I had giving up on life.  I had hypertension, poor circulation in my legs, and I felt I would never lose enough weight to make a difference, so why try.
 
n July, I attended a retreat.  That is when I met Dr. Angel Lands.  after having a private consultation with Dr. Lands, I decided to join APSTFC/HF4MW fitness program.  I felt very comfortable with her style of instructions and professionalism.  Dr. Lands informed me of her technique in starting off at a slow pace, possibly working out in a car in the beginning.  I thought wow! I can do this. So I went home and prayed and called my friends and family, requesting that they pray for me and help support in my decision.  I finally made up my mind to give this new lifestyle a chance.  I decided to give my all to live longer, eat better and start a new chapter in my life.  I took my life back into my hand and began to trust God for the thing I thought was impossible, which was losing weight.  Philippians 4:13, I can do all things with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.  NIV
 
APSTFC holds a huge impact on my new physical life today.  In my book grading this program is easy.  10 hands up for Dr. Lands who is patient, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable regarding weight lose and the mechanical functions of the body.  Dr. Lands never rush me to complete exercise sets, she just started me off where I was and as an result of her proved expertise, I am now working out one hour 4 times a week.  I would have never imagined enjoying working out to this much.  I would and have recommended this program to all women.
 
My goals are to continue a healthy life style for the rest of my life and encourage other women to do the same.  I have become a role model for all my friends and family.  Speaking of the word of God with boldness and truth to all that has listening ears, sharing my testimony with other women who, like myself have giving up on life, trust in God to make all things possible.  If I had to give this program a slogan “hard work pays off, when Dr. Lands is in your life”.

    I attended an educational retreat where I met Dr. Angel Lands, who were conducting a fitness workout in the morning with the participants of the retreat.  After completing the sessions I began to feel vibrant and revitalized and realized that I had to change my priorities by including physical fitness coupled with nutritional changes in my daily routine.  Also I just wanted to just feel better. Since enrolling in APSTFC’s program my life has been transformed.  I’m not only feeling great but have more energy, vitality and an overall feeling of tranquility.  My stress level also has declined dramatically.  I went from plus sizes to shopping in Boutique sizes. I have also witnessed my granddaughter not only lose inches and pounds, but recapture her youthful energy and vitality. 
 
My daughter has also inspired me with her abounding energy and commitment; she also looks and feels GREAT! In Angel’s class there is no such word as “can’t”.   She is an excellent trainer who motivates her clients to bring out their best.  Each client is unique, with their own program, which is personally tailored by Angel to fit their particular needs and challenges.  Dr. Lands work with her clients in a holistic manner, encouraging excellence physically, mentally and spiritually.  If you are ready for changes in your lifestyle and want to look and feel better, I highly recommend APSTFC’S program.

MOTHER:   because of Before APSTFC the only exercise that I did on a regular basis was walking which became pretty boring and challenging enough considering the fact that I needed to lose at least 15 pounds in order for me to feel comfortable with myself.  I knew that to see results at a faster rate, I would need to step up my game.  My mother had met Angel at a retreat and wanted her to work with my daughter to help her lose weight and get ready for softball.  From the moment that I step into Angel’s gym, I knew I would be hooked and needed to get in on the action.  APSTFC has affected my life for the better.  I have never felt so good or healthy in at least 10 years ago. I have made a promise to myself to stay healthy and continue to be active in this new found journey along side my daughter and my mother.  I would definitely grade this program an A+ Angel’s commitment to her clients and the drive and motivation that she continuously instills.  When I think of APSTFC, I think of a place with perfect harmony because before you know it you will feel like you have been transformed into this beautiful piece of art with a new found passion and a ton of self-esteem.

   DAUGHTER:    My fitness and nutritional experience before joining APSTFC was not that good for a young adult my age. I was a very active young lady who played sports such as basketball, tennis, soccer and softball.  Even though I was active, I realized that things started to go down the drain when I started hanging out with the wrong crowd. To some parents when they hear that their child is hanging around the wrong crowd, they think of life in the drug lane or drugs being used. But not for me, I realized my drug was FOOD. After a while I started noticing different things about my body. So when my grandma found out about angel’s fitness programs and signed me up, I was so grateful.  APSTFC has affected my life in so many ways its hard to explain. This program has changed my body physically and mentally. For example, I get a whole lot of attention when I’m walking around with my friends, even sometimes a little to much.  Mentally for example, every since I have been eating less junk food my brain works a lot faster and I pay more attention in class because before all the junk food had me tired.   If I had to grade APSTFC, I would give APSTFC an A+ because it is a wonderful program to be in. this program is not only wonderful to be a part of, it helps women of all sizes.  If I had to recommend this program to others, I would show them a before and after photo of myself just to let them see the results them selves and this should take care of any explaining because the pictures speak for itself. My goal is to continue playing softball for my school and to keep eating as healthy as I can. If not, making sure that I eat healthy and well balance diet. I realize in order to maintain an healthy body, I need health and fitness to be apart of my life. And if I’m planning on playing softball, I shouldn’t eat junk food which slows the body down.   I want to play at my best to show everyone I’m not only a softball player but I’m also physically fit young who believes in reaching the highest of my expectations. If I could or had to pick a slogan for APSTFC, it would be “final touch” because it explains it all, I needing the “final touch” to make my life better is acquiring a healthy body.
